I'm new to Grace Church

If you are looking for a new church home, we invite you to visit Grace, where visitors are expected and embraced. The following questions and answers are to help you know what to expect and experience when you visit. If you have a question that is not answered below, please contact us. We'll be happy to answer!

What should I wear to worship on Sunday?

You can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable worshipping God. For some, that means casual clothes like jeans and t-shirts. For others, that means nice dresses or suit and tie. For most, that means something in between. God really doesn't care so much about how we dress, but what we wear can often reflect our attitude towards God. So give God your best, no matter what "best" looks like!

What are the differences between your two worship services?

At Grace Church we try to offer various styles of worship because we know that the Holy Spirit moves in different ways in each of us. But even if musical styles, technologies, formats, and orders of worship change, the core message - the Good News of God's love for us expressed through Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit - is the same.

8:30 a.m. Traditional Worship - In the Sanctuary. These uplifting services offer inspirational messages and a more formal order of worship. Traditional hymns are sung, accompanied by the organ or piano. Music is led by the choir.

10:30 a.m. Contemporary Worship - In the Family Life Center. This upbeat, praise and worship service is offered to those who are looking for a more relaxed and informal style of worship with contemporary praise songs. Music is led by the praise band.

Are there classes on Sundays? Can I come anytime?

We have learning opportunities for every age group - young children, elementary age, youth, and adult. New classes typically start at the beginning of the school year. For adults, many classes are for a specific period of time - 6, 8, 10 weeks - but new attendees are welcome to join at any point. Since these types of classes are of shorter duration, new classes are started as the previous classes end. For more information about classes and small groups please click here.

What about activities during the week? Is there anything available other than Sundays?

Grace Church is a seven-day-per-week community. Life groups meet for fellowship, Bible study and service throughout the week. We also have weekly programming, called Meet & Grow, during the school year. Take a look at the calendar for a complete listing of events.
