Our Beliefs

Grace Church is an exciting, dynamic group of people - diverse in age, occupation, backgrounds and viewpoints - united around a common mission: reaching and discipling people in Jesus Christ. As you read our belief statements below, we encourage you to do more than simply read them - Come! Be part of our family of faith and put these words into action in your heart and life!

What We Believe
About God:

  • We believe there is one God, the Creator of all things, who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in Jesus Christ who is fully God and fully man. We believe that Jesus, born of the Virgin Mary, died for our sins, was resurrected, ascended into Heaven from where He will return in glory and judgment.

  • We believe in the ever present person of the Holy Spirit who brings people to faith in Christ and enables our worship and adoration of The Lord.

What We Believe
About The Bible:

  • We believe in the authenticity, authority, and absolute truthfulness of the Old and New Testaments and believe these Scriptures are inspired and holy.

  • We believe that "all Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right." (2 Timothy 3:16 NLT)

What We Believe
About People and Faith:

  • We believe all people are equally in need of God's offer of redemption and forgiveness and that those who accept God's grace will be welcomed into his kingdom and have the privileges of an abundant life on earth.

  • We believe we experience God's presence most powerfully when we gather with other believers in prayer, thanksgiving, study, and discipling. We also believe that embracing a daily walk with Jesus will enrich our lives and the lives of those around us.

  • We believe in and welcome the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion which are central to our faith, as well as being leaders by participating in all forms of ministries.
