The purpose and mission of Grace Preschool is to provide a positive Christian environment where children have the opportunity to develop a positive self-concept through play and socialization. Teachers meet students where they are and work with small groups on a consistent basis. Children develop an awareness of God's loving care as our Heavenly Father.
Victoria is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a BS degree in Early Childhood Education. Before coming to Grace Preschool, Victoria was a classroom teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools in Northern Virginia. She taught kindergarten, first grade and third grade. She also served as lead mentor for new teachers. Victoria loves to run, read, travel and spend time with her family. She is married to Chad and they have a daughter, Haylee and a son, Brodie.
Kim holds a B.A. in English from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Elementary Education from The University of Akron. She has been at Grace Church as a member since 2007, Children's Ministry Director for 8 of those years and taught in the Grace Preschool 4 year old class in 2019-2020. Kim has three daughters, Emily, Sara and Olivia, who live scattered around Ohio, so she enjoys visiting family as much as she can.
Kim started with Grace Preschool at the beginning of the 2016 school year, though she was the Director of Children's Ministry at Grace Church for 8 years. Kim started her teaching career in Ontario, Canada where she taught Junior Kindergarten through 8th grade.
Lelia started with Grace Preschool in August of 2013. She has been teaching Sunday School at Grace since 2010 and has volunteered in many positions at Fort Meigs Elementary. Lelia likes watching football with her family, David (her husband), and their children Matt and Megan whenever she can.
Laura has been teaching at Grace Preschool since 2003. She is a graduate of the University of Toledo with over 15 years teaching experience, some at the college level. She and her husband Dean have been members of Grace Church for over 20 years where she has led many Sunday School and adult classes. They have three children: Allison and son-in-law Jim, Emily and Kyle; and enjoy watching sporting events.
Emily has been bringing her passion for teaching and children to Grace since August 2013. She is a graduate of BGSU where she played the sousaphone (the big marching tuba) in the marching band. She and her husband Jason enjoying spending time with their children Hannah and Noah.
Marianne is a graduate of Miami University. She has been with Grace Preschool as a substitute teacher for the past 9 years. Marianne has been teaching Sunday School at Zoar Lutheran church since 2001 and has been instrumental in starting several reading programs at Toth Elementary. She and her husband, Joe enjoy spending time with their 3 children, Maddy, Betsy & Janey. In her free time you might find Marianne boating on the Maumee river to catch a beautiful sunset!
