Missions
Missions are an important part of who we are as people of Grace. Not only do we get the opportunity to support many missions, but often we get the privilege to go on mission trips, whether near or far, to serve others and share The Good News!

MMS prepares aircraft for missions while training aircraft mechanics for mission service. Many missions are performed overseas and in remote locations. These small planes are sometimes the only ways to get to those villages and people in need. MMS fulfills this need so that they, and others, can share God's Word.

Le Cayes, Haiti area missions through Missions International of America was started and is sustained by Drs. Jay & Jan Nielson in 2001. Their work includes establishing and maintaining the Brad Reddick School (named in memory of a faithful Grace Church member), providing medical and dental services, feeding programs, developing wells for fresh water, delivering clothing, school supplies, medicines, etc.

The Deborah House in Romania is a home for girls and young women who have been abandoned or abused, giving them a safe place of love, healing, acceptance and hope. Introduced to Grace Church by Jeff and Deb Normand, we support them financially and with trips by Grace members to engage one-on-one with the girls.

Ed and Kim McKell and family have deep roots in Grace Church and have answered a call to go into the mission field in Germany. They are serving with Agape Europe, the Western European branch of Campus Crusade for Christ. The core of their mission is to win, build, and disciple students for Christ.

Grant & Gail Blair are serving with Operation Mobilization. OM has 5,500 missionaries from more than 95 nations working in 110 countries and on two missions ships. The Blair’s have answered their call, moving their family to South Africa where they coordinate OM’s field operations for the entire continent.

Billy Wayne travels throughout the U.S. and Mexico to share the Gospel through song, drama, testimony, and Scripture. He goes to churches, prisons, youth camps, retreats, and rallies. His greatest enjoyment is reaching out to abused and disadvantaged children and youth.

Long time Grace Church member, Tiffany Howard has served with many local and international missions teams. Her most recent calling is to the campus of BGSU with Campus Crusade for Christ. There she will be leading small groups, break time missions, and bringing students to Christ.

Campus Crusade for Christ Cru is an organization of young Christ followers at various universities. The college campus provides a pool of world views that leave many of us actively searching for some absolute truth. Our generation was raised in a society where situational ethics and relative morality have been taught in our schools, and dominate our media.

Perrysburg Christians United is the cooperation of 12 churches formed in 1973. The purpose of Perrysburg Christians United, PCU, is to provide for the needs of the community through an active food bank, annual blood drives, crisis assistance, and a Christmas toy project. PCU serves individuals and families who live in Northern Wood County, north of State Route 582. The Food Pantry is open Mondays from 1-3 p.m. and Fridays from 9-11 a.m. and is located at the back of the Grace Church parking lot.

TGRM is a shelter in downtown Toledo for both men and women in need. They provide clothing, food, shelter, and spiritual needs to the poor of Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio

The YMCA wants to genuinely serve and care for people within the YMCA of Greater Toledo community. They have solid mechanisms put in place to help members, volunteers and staff should they desire our help spiritually. These include but are not limited to, Bible studies, chatting with a Chaplain, and finding a local church.

Vision Ministries is a vibrant worship community led by Pastor Earl in South Toledo that serves by meeting essential physical needs—food, clothing, financial assistance and more.
